Border measures on COVID-19

As a general rule, quarantine measures upon entry into Japan are not implemented for all returnees and entrants, and they are not required to wait at home or in an accommodation facility after entry, follow up during the waiting period, or not use public transportation.

However, for all returnees and entrants, either a certificate of vaccination (3 doses) with a vaccine listed on the World Health Organization's Emergency Use List or a negative test certificate from a test taken within 72 hours prior to departure from Japan is required.

OUR EXPERIENCE

For Fast Track by MySOS, it is recommended that you scan (or photograph) your passport and the vaccination certificate or negative certificate mentioned above. Even if you did not use MySOS, you can still enter Japan by accurately answer the questionnaire at the airport. If you use MySOS, you will path through quarantine about 15-30 minutes faster than if you do not.
